In general, those who approach the Lodge with their wish to become a Freemason will receive a written or verbal invitation to submit a written application with their curriculum vitae. A number of meetings are then held with Brothers of the Lodge, who must ensure that certain essential requirements are met:
That the interested person/seeker is a free man of good repute, i.e. sincere, honest, free from prejudice towards races, religions and political ideas. That he is willing to improve himself positively, can behave tolerantly and has a basic Christian attitude.
Once you are convinced of the “reputation” of the interested party/seeker, only two conditions need to be met:
All brothers of the lodge must vote in favor of admission.
2 guarantors/sponsors must be willing to stand by the host.
