It should be noted, however, that just as it is not possible to describe the enjoyment of a good wine, the effect of a successful opera production or the reading of a book on the individual, it is also not possible to explain the Masonic secret in words.
The actual secret is not of a material nature, so it cannot be experienced in this way. It can only be “experienced” individually in the lodge itself.
The so-called Masonic secret is quite unspectacular: it contains the inner feeling of each brother when participating in Masonic work, coupled with the virtue lived. It cannot be read, seen or transferred. The content cannot be fixed statically, because the knowledge of human existence is always in flux.
